What is the Humanitarian Agency?
The Humanitarian Agency has been set up to deal with the ever increasing occurrence of humanitarian crisis. This includes the emergence of famine, disease and war.
The HA intends to organize aid to troubled regions.
Working with governments the HA hopes to provide solutions to the problems that may concern the population of the planet.
The HA also has applications in first world countries, especially in Urban Areas where high unemployment, low standards of education and other factors may lead to civil unrest.
While famine and war are the extreme of our work, we do have applications in first world countries. We are at present creating associations with charities, these deal with everything from homeless people to single mothers and beyond.
The HA purpose is to safe guard the rights of the population of the planet and to ensure as far as possible that the population have the basic rights as outlined by the United Nations Human Rights Charter.
What about the UN?
For many of the world's population the threat of war is a reality. Across the globe civil wars continue to rage, the cost in human life forever amounting.
The UN has in the past proved vital in its role as a peace keeping organization, but in recent times it has shown it inability to cope with a world that is rapidly destabilizing, often ending up in deadlock as action cannot be decided.
With the threat of war in the Gulf, civil war in Africa and Asia, the West is sure to be effected. The aim of the HA is to co ordinate its efforts with Central Command to prevent this from happening, and in the worse case that it does happen, to deal with the problem effectively, and reduce the loss of human life.
The HA accepts that wars have been a part of human culture for as long as history has recorded, it would be impractical to expect a planet that is completely at peace, the HA however aims to limit the effects of war on the innocent.
To sign up simply state HA as your choice agency. We currently have a major need for people who have been previously involved in the organization of fund-raising efforts. Also, people with experience in distribution of food etc. to third world countries are especially welcome.
Organizations that are also involved in helping their local community are asked to sign up.
There is a lot of work that must be done, but by working together we can achieve what was once thought impossible.
